INSTALLATION
The tape-in format allows for customized placement to suit your natural hair density and desired look. Using the traditional sandwich method, two adhesive tabs are applied with a section of your natural hair in between for a secure, seamless fit. Professional installation is recommended for the best results.
WEAR TIME & MAINTENANCE
With proper care, GOO GOO SELECT hair can be reused for up to 10 months. Gentle washing, careful detangling, heat protection, and appropriate maintenance help preserve its softness, smoothness, and natural shine. For tape-in wear, follow your stylist’s recommendations for move-ups and reapplication.
Care Instructions
The Dos and Don'ts of Select Tape-In Maintenance & Aftercare
Do:
- Schedule move-up appointments every 4-6 weeks to avoid added weight and tension from your grown-out hair.
- Use GOO GOO Replacement, Easy-Release, or Single Sided Tape for all maintenance care installation to ensure the best results.
- For smooth and easy removals, fully saturate each Tape-In bond weft with GOO GOO Remover and wait five seconds before gently removing the extension from the natural hair.
- Remove the weft in a downward motion toward the natural hair to avoid unnecessary tension on the hair, which can cause damage.
Don't:
- Wash your hair after a fresh install. We recommend you wait 72 hours to allow the Tape-In bonds to fully adhere to the natural hair set properly.
- Pull or tug the weft out of the natural hair. If you are having trouble with removal, we recommend spraying more remover as needed.
- Remove the weft by pulling from left to right. You want to remove each weft by pulling downward toward the natural hair for a swift and easy removal.
