- Use fresh micro rings for every reinstall to help ensure a secure, reliable hold and proper placement of the Nano Pro Tips.
- Choose micro rings that complement your root color for a more discreet, seamless finish.
- Gently brush your hair daily with a loop brush, starting from the ends and working upward to help prevent tangling around the micro rings and extension strands.
- Sleep with your hair in a loose braid or low ponytail to minimize friction, tangling, and unnecessary pulling while you sleep.
- Have your extensions properly removed before reinstalling them. With proper care and maintenance, SofGrip Nano Pro Tips can be reused for an extended styling experience.
Don’t:
- Reuse micro rings. Even if they look intact, previously used rings may not clamp securely and can increase the risk of slipping.
- Over-tighten the micro rings. The connection should feel secure without creating excessive tension or discomfort at the root.
- Pull or tug on the extensions. If a micro ring is difficult to remove, use the proper removal tool or have your stylist remove it to help protect your natural hair.
- Apply conditioner, oils, or heavy styling products directly to the roots or micro ring area, as they may contribute to slipping.
- Sleep with wet hair. Allow your hair and extensions to dry completely before going to bed to help minimize tangling and friction.
