- Choose beads that match your root color for the most natural and seamless blend.
- Gently brush your hair daily with a loop brush to avoid tangling near the beads and extension bonds.
- Sleep with your hair in a loose braid or ponytail to minimize friction and tangling.
Don’t:
- Reuse beads—even if they look intact. Reused beads may not clamp securely and can lead to slippage.
- Forget to securely clamp each bead into place for a secure install. Use a high-quality tool to press firmly in the center and sides for best results.
- Try to pull the extensions out. If a bead is stuck, use a proper removal tool or consult your stylist to avoid damaging your natural hair.
- Apply conditioner or oils directly at the root or bead area—it may cause slippage or loosen the bond.

How To Install Micro Link Extensions?
STEP 1 : Prep & Section
Start with clean, dry hair. Section the hair into small, neat horizontal rows, beginning from the nape and moving upward. Use sectioning clips to keep each layer organized.
STEP 2 : Thread the Beads
Using a loop tool or pulling needle, thread a microbead (silicone-lined for better grip and comfort) onto a small section of natural hair—close to the scalp but not too tight.
STEP 3 : Insert the I-Tip
Slide the I-Tip extension strand into the microbead alongside the natural hair. Use pliers to clamp the bead flat, securing both the extension and natural hair inside.
STEP 4 : Repeat & Blend
Continue working row by row, repeating the process until desired fullness is achieved. Once done, gently brush, trim, and style the hair to blend extensions seamlessly.

HOW TO REMOVE MY I-TIP HAIR EXTENSIONS?
1. Use pliers to gently open the beads
Hold the bead with a pair of pliers and gently squeeze it the opposite way (side to side) to release the pressure and open the bead.
2. Slide the extension strand out
Once the bead is open, carefully slide the extension out of your natural hair. Do not pull or tug.
3. Avoid reusing beads
Discard the used beads after removal—they may be bent or stretched and won’t hold securely if reused.
4. Brush and cleanse your natural hair
After removal, gently detangle your natural hair and wash to remove any buildup before reinstalling new extensions.
