That depends on your hair type and your goal:
For medium to thick hair:
• To add length: 3–4 packs of 50g tape-ins
• To add volume/thickness: 2–3 packs of 50g tape-ins
For thin or fine hair:
• To add length: 2–3 packs of 50g tape-ins
• To add volume/thickness: 3–4 packs of 50g tape-ins

Not at all—if they're applied and cared for properly!
Tape-ins are a gentle method that doesn’t require any heat, tools, or harsh chemicals. As long as they're installed by a professional and you follow the right aftercare, they won’t damage your natural hair.
Just treat them with care, and your own hair will stay healthy and happy underneath!

Yes, you can totally do it yourself—with a little patience and the right tools!
Tape-ins are one of the easiest semi-permanent extensions to install at home.

Here's what you'll need:
– A tail comb for clean sectioning
– A mirror (or two!)
– Steady hands
– A friend to help with the back (optional but super helpful!)

Make sure your hair is clean, dry, and free of oils before you start. Line up the tapes close to the root, sandwiching a thin section of hair in between. Want a full step-by-step guide? We've got you covered—just reach out or check our blog!
How to Put in Tape in Hair Extensions at Home？

GOO GOO Tape-Ins are made with premium Remy human hair, so they’re built to last! With proper care, you’ll need to re-tape them every 6–8 weeks, and the hair itself can last around 3 to 12 months depending on how often you wear them and how well you care for them.

• Grab your remover — we recommend our GOO GOO Tape-In Remover for an easy and safe removal process.
• Spray it generously along the tape—make sure it’s nice and wet so the glue starts to loosen.
• Give it a few minutes to work.
• Gently peel off the extensions. If they don’t come off easily, spray more alcohol and wait a bit longer.
• Use hair oil or serum on any leftover sticky spots to help dissolve the residue.
• Rub gently until it’s gone, then wash your hair as usual.
